Absorption Cooling System

A method of air cooling that begins by boiling a water and lithium bromide solution (the absorbent). The steam goes through a separator, which takes away the lithium bromide and sends it back to the absorber. The steam, however, continues on to a condenser, where it turns back into water. That water then flows into an evaporator, where it is turned into a very cold water vapor (the refrigerant). This refrigerant is then pumped through coils in the furnace where it cools the air or water that is then used to cool rooms.
