Mortgage brokers, mortgage agents, and mortgage lending

When I read this story on Union-Tribune yesterday, I believe it was worth sharing. Especially since last week there was a story where this company reached a settlement with HUD for bad practices when giving a mortgage to African Americans and Hispanics. Latino households in San Diego County joined the ranks of homeowners in huge numbers during the first half of the decade. I remember when we were getting ready to sell our first home we noticed more Latinos were seeking homeownership in our neighborhood at that time here in Colorado . It was great seeing people reach for their dreams and purchasing a home. Everyone should be able to have the American Dream at a level that is comfortable for them.
