Mortgage brokers, mortgage agents, and mortgage lending

As I was watching the news today, there was a story about a Colorado being number one in the nation for foreclosures several times this year. The state has taken a proactive step and generated a Hotline for Foreclosure. The number is 1-877-601-4673(HOPE). They said before the number was even released they were receiving ten phone calls an hour. Now they are getting even more. That says a lot and even clearly says to me that people want help before they end up in trouble. Hopefully the people on the other end of the call are able to help those in need. It is tragic when the American Dream turns into the American Nightmare.
