According to this story I read on Sys-con.com, foreclosure rate continues upward trend with 14.4% increase in quarter 3. That is not surprising and I must say based on all the different stories that I have looked at over the last few months, I would actually suspect that it will continue to increase. It would surprise me if the number of foreclosures decreased. This story went on to share that five states accounted for an estimated 66% of September’s foreclosure filing activity and Colorado was one of those states. I believe that part of the foreclosures is because of homebuyer education and also people that have an adjustable rate mortgage.
