Customer Service in the Mortgage Industry

I have to talk about this at least this time and maybe a few more times after. There have been several mortgage companies over the last few days that I have written about that are trying to improve their customer service. I am not saying that customer service cannot be improved by anyone; however, I do believe that is something that should be on a continuous basis. Customer service is one of those qualities that can make or break a business. If a mortgage broker, banker, lender or consultant is having a bad day and takes it out on the customer they will remember. As a matter of fact, they will make sure to tell everyone they know how they were treated. Sooner or later it will come back to you what the customer thought about that treatment if you did not hear directly from them at the time. Do you believe customer service is important?
