With all that is happening with mortgage fraud, I suspect that more companies or organizations are going to start standing up for this. According to an article I read on Detroit Free Press, there is a new program in Oakland County making homeownership a little safer. Homeowners need to be protected more and more. I believe that home buyers should be fully educated and understand everything that comes with being a home owner. But for those that are not educated, Oakland County has begun a new program called FRAUDCHECK that will be available as of Nov. 15. It is available to anyone, will particularly help senior citizens who are vulnerable to these kinds of schemes.
