Does anyone really buy a home for a $1. I have to admit upon seeing this on the email that was forwarded to me from a friend, I was quite skeptical. However, curiosity set in and I had to see what this was all about. Apparently the catch is, you must move these homes somewhere else. How often is that when you purchase a house, you plan on moving it to a different location? That can be the case with a modular home or trailer home. Every now and then I see a house being moved by huge trucks to a specific location. However, it would surprise me to purchase a house for a $1 and then spend tons of money moving it to a different location. What could really be the benefit of this? If you have some ideas, send them in.
