I would have to think there are a lot of costs involved besides moving the house. Are you prepared to purchase a lot? Where will the lot be and is it going to be in a neighborhood you can afford? Or are you going to have to put the house somewhere that is less desirable for you. Another area that you need to look at before purchasing is does the house need some work? Are you going to do the work or pay someone else to do the work? Are you even prepared for that? Has anyone ever recommended to a consumer to purchase a house for $1? I am interested in hearing this story.
