I received a comment tonight from the Senior VP at Topdot Mortgage. I want to say thank you to the Senior VP for taking the time to read my blog. I want to share part of what he had to say:
It is crucial to care in a service industry, and while some say it, we actually do care about our clients. Sales is defined as "helping people make decisions that are good for them." That is the philosophy we employ on a daily basis.
Topdot has already set itself apart because it is focusing on the client and the client's needs. It is imperative whether you are in a service industry or even every day life to help people make decisions that are best for them. They will receive your openness and willingness to help them succeed. I do not know that many people that like being treated as a number but as a person that has feelings, thoughts and goals for their life. If Topdot can help one person reach their goal, then it is worth it. Wouldn't you agree?
Thanks for reading Senior VP. if you would like to find out more about Topdot Mortgage, you may view this website www.topdot.com.

I just found this spot and it really is the 2nd of two I wish to contact. Let me begin, we were searching out a mortgage company and I did do some research on the computer and was contacted by 3 in 2 days. The 3rd was TOPDOT. I thought after comparing all three responses I went with TOPDOT to follow up with. My agent was a very nice, sweet young lady that was more than willing to assist me. I let her know that I needed alot of help along the way due to my illiteracy in this field. We both laughed and she replied "if she didn't know she would find the answer". Just what a stressed out, confused, apparent sucker needs to hear. Reassurment, right!! Well, she hurriedly led me thru what I needed to provide her with and I did. After asking what I thought were valuable and pertinant questions on some legal terminology, statements as well as definitions of abbreviated accounting terms. Everything seemed to be smooth sailing until: the notary came to my Attorney State by himself. I was told #1. There will be 2 people show up at your door due to your state being an attorney state (the attorney and the notary) Wrong. Only one man came and his title was the CLOSER. #2. While going over the paper work with us there were a few things that were'nt even metioned to me from the agent I worked with from TopDot in Arizona! The APR was a Variable (that is the first reason for the re-finance and the agent was told that from the first sentence with her) this contract was a Variable. #3. I never heard of a PREPAYMENT PENALTY! Thank god for the "CLOSER" he defined that term for us. #4. On the Truth and Disclosure page there 2 different percentage rates! #5. On the top of the page under our names of the Good Faith Estimate was the term Estimated. Duh! after questioning this I was informed (not by TopDot) that that had never been seen before on this type of document (via Legal Advisor). To top it all off I called the agent during this meeting to clarify the Prepayment Penalty and found that she couldn't really explain it to me and was told that in our case we would have to have it in our loan. Afterwards, my husband and I decided to take a closer look and sleep on it. I phoned the agent on her work # left a message saying we needed 2days to think about it and I WOULD CONTACT HER THEN! The next morning first call of the day was from The Agent!!! I refused to answer all 5 of her calls that day. Around 6 pm. I was called by the CLOSER from the nite before to say he had been called by his boss to say the agent and her mgr. had contacted him to inform them that the CLOSER had told us this was a BAD LOAN and NOT to sign it. That was farthest from the truth!! We felt undermind, lied upon, a scape goat to their inaccuracies and untruths. We felt like we had been treated like uneducated children.. I contacted the CLOSERS Boss and told him what had really happened then 3wayed to their boss.(the company that had hired them for topdot) I reiterated what had taken place, He then said I would be contacted by TopDot with a new offer and I should Listen to them!!! HA,HA, I replied with "Once burnt, twice shy"!, No way do I even want to hear them ring my phone! So they can try to undermind me again..RED FLAG to ALL, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!! In my opinion they don't have your best intrest at heart they only want commision. They don't even respect your wanting or needing to have private time to discuss and think about this lifechanging event. Mr. Brown V.P. of TopDot, I think you ought to take a trip to your AZ. office and speak directly to Agent Carr as well as her Boss. Afterall, in your business you rely on word of mouth and I was vaccinated with a phonagraph needle..My informer on this situation classified this as a "rape" and I would just like to THANK Them for all the help that they offered that helped us to decide not to continue with this Loan. God does send you angels when you need them..The Greatest Gift we recieved this Christmas!! Happy New Year TopDot! Hope ya get a lump of Coal.
