Have you ever asked your clients if after you have given them a quote on a mortgage, they have begun receiving unwanted phone calls for other mortgage companies outside of their state? Did you ever think to take a poll for that information? I personally have not received those kinds of phone calls; however, we get all of that kind of information in the mail. People start out saying basically who we originally received our loan through and they what they can or cannot do. I believe consumers and mortgage lenders as well as mortgage brokers should all exercise extreme caution in this situation. The bait and switch tactic is very real.
