I remember when we were renting our town home, some weekends we spent driving to different areas looking at model homes. You could almost count on a builder having at least three models if not more in a development. Sure, I might have liked the first home but as the houses increased in size and decorations, I began liking houses three or four more than the first one. My husband and son went out yesterday and looked at homes in this new development. Much to my surprise this one particular builder only had two model homes. My husband was questioning how they could only have two. I shared with him that home builders are taking a hit due to the number of homes being returned to the market because of foreclosures. He walked away in amazement. The market is affecting many people this time around.
