Over the last couple of years many people have been displaced by hurricanes and sought temporary housing. There are some people who ended up in FEMA trailers and were not able to return to apartment living based on the increasing prices of rent. I found an interesting story in Multi-Housing News that shared how Remington Financial Group secured a $12M mortgage for a 224-Unit Complex. When I went deeper in the story this particular proprety was acquired in September of 2004 after Hurricane Ivan hit the town and damaged several of its building. Seems as if this group is looking out for the principals involved and that community.
