My husband and I were having this discussion a couple of days ago about realtors. I was upset about what he had to share. Let me preface this by letting you know, that he worked with realtors for about four years and know a lot about the mentality of the realtors he worked with. He shared with me he read this article that realtors are now reducing the amount of home visits. Why is this if they are making a certain percentage when they sell the house? The amount of money being spent on gas will not reduce the amount of money they make significantly on the back end. If I were a consumer, utilizing a realtor right now to look at a house and they did this, I would end up getting a new realtor. Who is the customer here? I know that when we were ready to look at homes, we had already narrowed down our selection. So it was not a matter of driving around aimlessly. However, we knew what we wanted. If you are in the mortgage industry and have friends that are realtors, have you heard of them doing this?
