When I read about this I felt it was worth sharing. It is not every day that you see someone get moved to a position of great influence. Here, I was reading Birmingham Business Journal and it was sharing how John Johnson, president and CEO of MortgageAmerica Inc. has been elected chairman of Mortgage Electronic Registration System. The MERS is a database of residential and commercial loans nationwide. What an honor it must be for him to be a part of the MERS and what they plan to do in the future. Mr. Johnson brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this company. Congratulations, Mr. Johnson.
