Mortgage lenders could be getting hit with two factors that are reducing their business. Thre are builders that have their own mortgage company and usually fund their homes through their lender. Based on this factor, there could be some disappointing news. Why? Because if there is a reduction in the number of houses being built, there will be no reason to quote him a mortgage. There is the chance they will not be able to afford the home. Will this blow put some mortgage lenders out of business? I imagine it could especially if they were a new builder in the neighborhood. This could also lead to a reduction in jobs for those companies.
