I came across this story on WBALChannel.com sharing how “Officials Warn of Mortgage Fraud.” Upon reading this story, it is one that I have heard before that happens to elderly or ill people. You might even say people that are in desperate situations that are looking for options. This lady thought she was saving her home from foreclosure by hiring these people to help her. In essence, they almost walked away with her home. The News I-Team investigated the company and found they were not a licensed broker for that area. Key here is they did their “RESEARCH.” I always and will continue to recommend people do their research.
