I believe laws being added to protect consumers is a good thing based on so many consumers being taken advantage of. Sometimes this is in part of the consumer not reading all the details as well as thoroughly researching the specifics of what they are being told. The bill that I want to share with you about was passed in California and signed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger. One of the Assembly bills is AB 790 which deals with licensed real estate brokers. As far as I am concerned, it does not matter whether you are in California or as far as New York, there needs to be regulation for licensed real estate brokers. There are too many setting up offices and are not licensed. Then consumers are hurt in the long run. If you are California, what do you think of this bill?
