Mortgage brokers, mortgage agents, and mortgage lending

This is what I like to see homebuyer education at its best. Housing services in Duluth have received a grant to help with a wide variety of housing counseling for homeowners, low-to moderate income renters and homeless. What an opportunity to teach these consumers about interest rates, mortgages, and choosing a home that they can afford. I have rarely met someone that did not want to own a home. How much better will it be if they are fully informed before making an educated decision. With all the media about foreclosures, mortgage fraud and higher rates, this group could really make a difference in the lives of the people that come to them for help.
