We did not quite categorize it this way as this TV station in Seattle that said Homeowners are sitting ducks for exploitation. However, as we discussed loans and purchasing a home during our virtual book tour today we shared how people are often taken advantage. They are taken advantage of for many reasons of which a few of these are a lack of knowledge, low or no income and also not researching every aspect of home ownership. When these factors are present, consumers are pretty much doing whatever the person sitting across from the table tells them. They do not know all the details or ins and outs of the process. They focus on the fact they are able to qualify but not taking into account the different expenses that come with home ownership. Do not be a sitting duck, be a person that asks a lot of questions and get answers. Make an informed decision.
