I remember when I worked in the auto leasing business for a while and one of the guys always talked about the different car auctions he would attend. Not that the cars were damaged but they ended up there because they returned back to the bank and they could not sell it for the value or some other reasons. It is apparent that this is happening with many homes in Michigan. According to a story I read on CNNMoney.com there will be a mass auction in late September for more than 250 bank-owned homes. Do you think this would be a good time for someone to purchase a house if they are in the market to buy a house? I am not sure if this would be a good time to purchase a house, but I would go and see what different homes they have and get some of my questions answered. If you are a realtor or mortgage broker, would you take someone to these properties? If so, why and if not, why not?
