Foreclosures, mortgage fraud, housing bubble and less building, I have seen various stories on these subjects. If you are working in the real estate or mortgage industry, have you lost your job? Have you been recruited by another company because of the lack of work in your current office? I know some people that have been in the business and decided to close up shop and go to a newer market. Although I believe at this time, the market is dim all around. Houses are staying on the market and other houses are coming to the market from foreclosures. These two factors alone are affecting builders which in turn affects sub-contractors. Less of a need to build a new house when there are a lot of houses on the market that people can purchase. If one is in the mortgage industry and no one is buying, then there is no need for a mortgage. Higher interest rates have taken a toll on the market. Do you consider learning a new job in another industry or wait it out if possible?
