Delinquencies All Around

Know More: Current News, Housing Market, Mortgages 2.0, Mortgages

How many times have you picked up the newspaper or watched the morning news and the topic was about foreclosures? This has been happening in my opinion all too much. More and more people are delinquent in paying their mortgages for several factors such as higher mortgage rates, lack of money to pay their mortgage or areas trying to reorganize from devastation of hurricanes. I should say ability to manage money to pay their mortgage versus a lack of money. Either way it is a problem. Delinquent mortgages are affecting home owners as well as builders. Once they become delinquent and cannot catch up, I would believe they would end up in the foreclosure category. From there the houses end up back on the market. If this happens enough then there is a glut in the market. There is no reason to build a home when there are a lot of homes on the market. If you are a mortgage broker, mortgage consultant or mortgage banker, how do you handle your clients being delinquent?
