I have to share I had never even heard of this organization before. Let alone what their purpose is. I decided to research and find out what they were all about. If you have never heard of them, here is your chance to learn as well. They are a nonprofit, nonpartisan research and policy organization dedicated to protecting homeownership and family wealth by working to eliminate abusive financial practices. They really work against predatory lending. I tell you they cannot do it all by themselves. They do not have offices all over the United States, however they can be contacted They not only focus on mortgage lending, payday lending, overdraft loans and car title loans to name a few.
