I recall many, many years ago if a company was registered with the Better Business Bureau they had a decent company reputation. However, in recent years I discovered being registered with the Better Business Bureau did not have the same value as when I initially heard about it. Now I read in Seattle-Post Intelligencer that a woman with a 1.4 million fraud conviction was hired by the Spokane Better Business Bureau while appealing her conviction and federal prison sentence. That is appalling to me. What message is being sent? I can understand she might have needed a job, but not that job. That is too much a conflict of interest. What are your thoughts?
