When my husband shared with me about our friend and the house, I told him our friends should be happy they have a good realtor. I said this primarily because if that inspector had been working on the side of the broker, he might have looked the other way. Well I found out that in our friends house that was for sale, the inspector came in and said there was something wrong with the well. This was an error. The realtor conducted the inspector again and he said, “Oh I inspected the wrong well.” After further research, the realtor discovered that the inspector has been known for saying all the wells are faulty. His friend owns a well repair business. He was turning the work over to him. Can you imagine this? You have to be careful and get a reputable inspector.
