Home Owner Beware Right in our own Backyard
Every now and then I get to hear the local radio programs in the morning if I am out running errands. There has been this advertisement for Altus Home Loans running for a very long time. So much so that my husband had even been considering their program. I explained to him that I did not believe this was a reputable copmany and why I felt that way. Here in our paper two days ago it shares that a mortgage broker failed to pay taxes. Lo and behold, it is that very company that I felt uneasy regarding what they were offering. I have to share this with several people because they might fall for this as well. So glad I was paying attention to all of the different mailings and wording on documents.
