How many times have you disputed misinformation on your credit report and it has not been corrected? Do you know there are legal steps you can take to get that information corrected? Well, consumers are taking Wells Fargo and Trans Union to trial over false credit reporting. That right false credit reporting. Apparently this couple’s home had been tagged because of land instability. Their mortgage services, which was Wells Fargo was contacted and obtained a forbearance agreement so they did not have to make mortgage payments during the process of the red-tag. Wells Fargo transferred their mortgage to Freddie Mac. Freddie Mac charged off the loan with a zero balance and no negative credit. Couple had always been current on payments and had spotless credit. Guess what, Wells Fargo continued to report false negative credit info. How does this happen when they transferred the mortgage to someone else? This case is going to trial on August 28. What are your thoughts about this situation?
