Have you ever driven through the neighborhood and all the houses look the same? Well almost every house until you get to this one. Looks as if they rebelled and did not want to conform to the neighborhood. This house is a fluorescent in color and in your mind you are thinking what happened to that house. Many people live in a covenant neighborhood where there are homeowner’s associations. Homeowner’s associations dictate color of house, split-rail fencing, and even when you can have the garage door open. I found it interesting to see that this article stated the homeowner’s association can force homeowners into foreclosure. This would be for failure to pay dues and fines. It does amaze me when we get our monthly newsletter the amount of violations that are in there and how the homeowner’s association is handling it. Before you purchase a home, find out about the homeowner’s association. This could be a deciding factor between purchasing in a specific neighborhood and not purchasing.
