As you prepare to purchase a home, I believe you could not ask too many questions. The more questions you get answered as you are beginning this process, the mistakes you can alleviate. You will make a better decision which will potentially save you pain down the road. Initially I am listing some beginner questions and will add some more later.
1) How will the services you provide as a mortgage broker offer financial benefits to me throughout my home ownership?
2) Will I be charged points?
3) Does my loan have a pre-payment penalty?
4) What possible property defects or adverse environmental conditions do you require repaired as a condition of loan approval?
5) If I pay for a copy of my credit report and appraisal report, when will I be furnished with copies of these items?
Make sure you get a copy of your credit report so you know exactly what you look like on paper.
