We have all read and saw about the tragedy of the hurricanes in Louisiana. The people are still dealing with houses that have been destroyed and lack help in repairing them. There is a lot still going on that we no longer hear about in the media. Over the weekend I read that a Louisiana bank is acquiring Pulaski Investment Corporation. This will enable IberiaBank the opportunity to expand markets in Little Rock and suburban Memphis. Growth is wonderful. This acquisition also gives them Pulaski Mortgage. This was a well thought out move. How many more people will they be able to help because this mortgage company is within their group. Pulaski’s Mortgage operations has 22 offices in seven states. This is definitely one bank worth watching to see what happens in the near future with expansion.
