There comes a time in everyone’s life when they are tired of working for someone else and want to be on their own. What usually gets a person to that point? Is it years of dedication and lack of appreciation? Seeing a downward spiral in the profession? Or even economic choices? Peter Williams, the deputy director of the Council of Mortgage Lenders is quitting the organization at the end of September after 12 years. He is becoming a self-employed consultant. Maybe it is his turn to make a greater impact on a personal level in people’s lives than if he was working for this organization. Good luck to you Mr. Williams.
