At least once a month or less there are changes in top management taking place at various companies throughout the states. It does not even surprise me any more when a new person is placed in a position of management. Why do you ask? Because after a period of time of operating one way, there are times when a new person needs to come in with fresh ideas. There are times when companies get in a rut and they continue to do things one way because that is the way things are done. That does not mean that it is always correct. Today, HSBC North America Holdings announced executive changes. The current mortgage chief is retiring at the end of the year. Sandy Derickson will be taking over as the mortgage chief. From my experience, when one change takes place that is rarely the only one. Change happens in a “domino effect” it is never just one person.
