Mortgage brokers, mortgage agents, and mortgage lending

It has to happen here it has happened every where else. Colorado is not immune to mortgage fraud. I read about this former prosecutor in the Denver Post that cleaned up mortgage fraud 34 years ago in New York . Well, he has his work cut out for him here in Colorado . He is a private fraud investigator. Colorado has been number #1 in the nation for foreclosures at least the first two quarters of this year. I would have to think some of that would be caused by mortgage fraud. This former prosecutor is Anthony Accetta and he stated “nobody in the lending industry cars about mortgage fraud, because they do not suffer when a loan goes bad.” I can see that point of view but would hope that was not true. What are our thoughts about this?
