Wait a minute? Some lenders are being pressured to buy back loans that people could not afford in the first place. The people became negligent and did not even make the first payment. Well, why would you even grant the people a loan that you know they could not afford in the first place? What does that say about you as a lender? Were you only after the dollar? Did you not even think about the long term ramifications for this family, primarily because they could end up back on the street? If I was in a situation where I could not even afford the payment, I would not recommend this lender to my friends. As a matter of fact, I probably would be telling everyone I know what transpired between me and that lender. People can either talk good about you or bad. Let your attention to detail and actions for their good stand out.
