I remember watching the news where this Hurricane Katrina victim has been denied housing because she has not complied with the government rules for housing. I have to stop and ask the question, if she has not complied why is that? If they are saying she has to gut her home and remove debris, isn’t there a risk of her being exposed to mold from all the water damage? Maybe I am not thinking clearly. Are they sending her help to get her home cleaned out? Appears to me as if they are making it impossible for people to get the assistance they need to rebuild their homes or obtain new homes. Sad to say, but this does not appear to be a Road Home but a Road Less Traveled by Katrina victims.
