Growing up in a single parent household, I know that there are single women who believe that they would not be able to afford a house. That is not necessarily true. It is just a fact of looking at their overall picture to include finances and deciding on a realistic game plan to obtain homeownership. “The Single Woman’s Guide to Real Estate” by Donna Raskin and Susan Hawthorne explains virtually everything prospective home buyers need to know before deciding to proceed. I would have to also recommend my book, Homebuyer’s Helper (How to Have and Hold on to your House) in this section. Primarily because my book teaches you how to possess your house for a lifetime. I have not read the other book, but believe you can get something out of every book. Let's face it, there are a lot of women purchasing homes these days. Preparation is the key. Both of these books can be ordered from www.amazon.com.
