Imagine my surprise this morning when I read that Cherry Creek Mortgage Co is expanding while others are shrinking in this mortgage market. They just bought Premier Mortgage which is based in Greenwood Village . I would not be surprised if other mortgage companies start merging with others. The market has shifted, homes are staying on the market longer and there is a challenge with increasing interest rates. Cherry Creek Mortgage is really growing by leaps and bounds this year. This is the second time it has added a company. Earlier this year they added Chicago-based Majestic Mortgage. They have positioned themselves for even more growth despite what is happening in the market.
