
As a reader posted, check out what the competition is doing and do it better. I agree with the reader. In every industry there is always a way to complete a task better, whether it is more customer service, follow-up or even marketing yourself in a better fashion. I for one have to say I think more customer service these days would set you apart. Especially when a lot of phone messages have you pushing a thousand buttons before you get to a real person. Second, I would imagine that follow-up is big. If a customer believes that they do not have enough information or communication that would send them to someone else. Ensure your customers are happy with the service you are providing.
