Mortgage brokers, mortgage agents, and mortgage lending

Chase is the next company to cut 170 jobs. They are cutting jobs in their Milwaukee home mortgage and home equity loan collections area by February 2007. It is apparent that no one is immune from having to reduce and remove jobs. Jobs are being transferred and the number of collection sites are being reduced. Once again it is doing more with less and trying to do things more efficiently. I have to say from my experience, when I have been left behind when companies reduce, initially it is hard on the people that remain. There are more duties and no increase in pay. This does tend to decrease people’s quality of life because they are working longer hours. Good luck to the employees of Chase.
