What is happening in the housing market is affecting everyone. Housing builders are seeing more houses on the market for sale. I imagine this is because the number of houses that have returned to the market based on foreclosures, there is not a need to build new houses. It seems as if every week even in our own community there is another vacant house surfacing. As job losses happen, people will feel insecure about purchasing a new house. Would these factors paint the optimum picture for purchasing a house? If you are mortgage broker and a potential client came to you with these concerns, what would you tell them? When people are feeling insecure about the housing market and employment, there are times when they should not change their current housing situation. What you recommend to the potential client if this happened to you?
