Why does this not surprise me that the priciest homes of the year are in California. That also means that the homes are appreciating. Are the appreciations going to slow down at some point? Maybe not. What has happened here in Colorado is that people are moving here from California with all the equity they have received. They are paying for homes in cash. What has me curious is if they moved here for employment or just because they needed a change of scenery. If they moved here because of employment, how long did the job last and was it worth the move?
