Mortgage brokers, mortgage agents, and mortgage lending

I recently read an article titled "State by State Mortgage Decline." The article shared about state mortgage declines. What I was most interested in was the highest percentage and the lowest.

Highest percentage of Delinquencies:

Louisiana

Mississippi

Alabama

Texas

Michigan

Lowest percentage of Delinquencies

Hawaii

California

North Dakota

Wyoming

Oregon and South Dakota 

It does not surprise me at all that Louisiana , Mississippi and Alabama are in the top. There was widespread devastation. There are still people without housing and employment. With everything that is going on with the economy, I would not be surprised if more people do not become delinquent on their mortgages.
