Oh, upon reading an article titled “Why Mortgage Life Insurance is Not a Good Idea” I have experienced what they are talking about. Whether you have experienced this first-hand or not, get ready. When you buy a home, the information is public record. Everybody and their brother will begin soliciting you through the mail for any type of loan you could ever want, life insurance, etc. I cannot even keep a count of how many times even my local bank sent me information on obtaining life insurance through them. What is even more interesting is when I did not respond about six months later, I received another offer. If you need life insurance, do your research and choose the company yourself. Do not let these overpriced companies take advantage of you.
