How many times have you heard you can invest in real estate and make big money? I have heard that all too often to know that everything people are saying is not true. You must do you homework when you get a ton of offers in the mail regarding refinancing your loan. Do you really know who these companies are? Research, research, research is very important. Mortgage fraud can cost homeowners millions of money. I read an article where this lady in Houston had multiple mortgages on properties she purchased to make a profit. She does not have the money and cannot even collect a minimum amount. It is sad when people are taken advantage of and now have properties that will not make them any money. Why do you think people get taken advantage of?
