Countrywide second quarter profit rose 27 percent higher. I knew they were one of the top lenders; however I did not realize they were the largest lender. I will be following their continued growth and profit this year. I might be a little partial because we have used Countrywide and they have been very good to us. I have found that some people had not been as fortunate as us when dealing with Countrywide. Given the current market, it would not surprise me if they had a reduction in jobs. A lot of major companies or corporations have had to reduce the amount of employees. Remember the saying, “Do more with less.” This is not always a wise decision. Let’s see what happens with Countrywide employees.
